- Method of manufacturing core product, and core product
- (57) Abstract
A method of manufacturing a core product includes injecting molten resin into a resin injection portion provided in a core body so as to extend in a longitudinal direction of the core body, and forming a core product by welding the core body. A buffer region is set between the resin injection portion and a periphery of the core body in a lateral direction of the core body. The core product is formed by welding the core body so that a weld bead formed on the core body is prohibited from reaching the buffer region, and so that the weld bead is spaced apart from the resin injection portion in the lateral direction of the core body.

Claims (2)
- A core product comprising: a core body having a resin injection portion extending in an axial direction of the core body; a resin portion formed in the resin injection portion; and a weld bead formed on a peripheral surface of the core body, wherein the weld bead does not reach a buffer region set between the weld bead and the resin injection portion, and wherein the weld bead is spaced apart from the resin injection portion by 0.5 mm or more.
- A method of manufacturing a core product, the method comprising: injecting molten resin into a resin injection portion which is disposed in a core body and extends in an axial direction of the core body; and forming a core product by welding the core body, wherein forming the core product includes welding the core body so that a weld bead formed by welding does not reach a buffer region set between the weld bead and the resin injection portion, and wherein the weld bead is spaced apart from the resin injection portion by 0.5 mm or more.
Description
The present disclosure relates to a method of manufacturing a core product, and a core product.
Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2011-067094 discloses a rotor core for use in an interior permanent magnet (IPM) motor. The rotor core includes a core body having a plurality of magnet insertion holes at predetermined intervals around a rotation axis, each magnet insertion hole passing through and extending in the extending direction of the rotation axis, permanent magnets disposed in the magnet insertion holes, and solidified resin filling each insertion hole and solidified.
An example method of manufacturing a core product may include injecting molten resin into a resin injection portion which is provided in a core body and extends a longitudinal direction of the core body, and forming a core product by welding the core body. A buffer region may be set between the resin injection portion and a periphery of the core body in a lateral direction of the core body. The core product may be formed by welding the core body so that a weld bead formed on the core body is prohibited from reaching the buffer region, and so that the weld bead is spaced apart from the resin injection portion in the lateral direction of the core body.
