Description
The invention relates to a fastening device for a negative-pressure therapy appliance, comprising a holding means, a hollow body and a receiving area. In particular, the invention relates to such a fastening device for a negative-pressure therapy appliance that can be worn and carried around by the user. The invention further relates to a negative-pressure therapy appliance that comprises a fastening device.
A negative-pressure therapy appliance is a device for providing negative pressure for medical uses, in particular for negative-pressure treatment of wounds on the human or animal body.
Devices for negative-pressure treatment of wounds on the human or animal body and negative-pressure therapy appliances suitable for a negative-pressure treatment of wounds have already been disclosed many times, for example by WO 1996/05873, US 2004/0073151, WO 2011/018132 or WO-2011/018133.
In a conventional device for negative-pressure treatment of wounds on the human or animal body, a negative-pressure therapy appliance communicates with the wound or the wound environment via a suction line, wherein an air-impermeable cover material is provided for leaktight closure of the wound and of the wound environment, such that a negative pressure can be established in the wound space and liquids can be sucked from the wound space into an exudate container. The negative-pressure therapy appliance usually comprises an exudate container. The exudate container is often coupled detachably to the negative-pressure therapy appliance.
