Graymail

Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-000495

A classification for solicited bulk email messages that are not spam but can clutter a user's inbox. This includes newsletters, marketing promotions, and social media notifications that a user once subscribed to but may no longer wish to receive. Unlike spam, which is unsolicited and malicious, graymail is legitimate, and every message must contain a functional link for the recipient to unsubscribe.
