A microblogging and social networking service where users post and interact with short messages known as "tweets." Registered users can post, like, and retweet tweets, while unregistered users can only read them. Tweets were originally limited to 140 characters, a limit that was later expanded to 280 characters for most languages. The platform was rebranded as X in 2023.
