Fine-tuning
Term · Cybersecurity · MLC-T-CYB-001742
1. In machine learning, a training step that starts from a pre-trained model (sometimes called a foundation model) and adds task-or domain-specific information.
2. The process of adapting a pre-trained model to perform specific tasks or specialize in a particular domain. This phase follows the initial pre-training phase and involves further training the model on task-specific data. This is often a supervised learning task.
