Replay resistance

1. The property of an authentication process to resist replay attacks, typically by the use of an authenticator output that is only valid for a specific authentication.

2. Protection against the capture of transmitted authentication or access control information and its subsequent retransmission with the intent of producing an unauthorized effect or gaining unauthorized access.
