Other energy losses

Energy losses throughout the energy system as they are consumed while converting energy to do work or to provide a service (usually in the form of heat) that are not separately identified by the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Examples include heat lost in the process of burning motor gasoline to move vehicles or in electricity used to power a lightbulb.
