Co-Benefits

The ancillary or additional benefits of policies that are implemented with a primary goal, such as climate change mitigation - acknowledging that most policies designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions also have other, often at least equally important, benefits (e.g., energy savings, economic benefits, air quality benefits, public health benefits). Also referred to as "multiple benefits."
