  1. 1. The clarity and completeness with which data, assumptions and methods of analysis are documented. Experimental replication is possible when information about modeling processes is properly and adequately communicated.

    2. Open, comprehensive and understandable presentation of information.

    3. Conducting a risk assessment in such a manner that all of the scientific analyses, uncertainties, assumptions, and science policies which underlie the decisions made throughout the risk assessment are clearly stated (i.e., made readily apparent).

    4. For risk assessment to be transparent, methods, and assumptions should be clearly stated and understandable to the intended audience, so that the audience is able to evaluate the adequacy of the data and methods.

    5. By making information more accessible to the public.

    6. A measure of increased accountability and decreased corruption in which a business reports on its ethics and performance results through accessible publication of the business' practices and behavior.

    7. This is conducting a risk assessment in such a manner that all of the scientific analyses, uncertainties, assumptions and science policies which underlie the decisions made throughout the risk assessment are clearly stated (i.e., made readily apparent). For risk assessment to be transparent, methods, and assumptions should be clearly stated and understandable to the intended audience, so that the audience is able to evaluate the adequacy of the data and methods.

    8. Ensuring all relevant data and information used to inform decision making or actions are visible and accessible, by affected or interested parties to the extent practicable and permitted by law.

  2. (Model) The clarity and completeness with which data, assumptions, and methods of analysis are documented. Experimental replication is possible when information about modeling processes is properly and adequately communicated.

  3. (Risk Assessment) 1. Conducting a risk assessment in such a manner that all of the scientific analyses, uncertainties, assumptions, and science policies which underlie the decisions made throughout the risk assessment are clearly stated (i.e., made readily apparent).

    2. For risk assessment to be transparent, methods, and assumptions should be clearly stated and understandable to the intended audience, so that the audience is able to evaluate the adequacy of the data and methods.
