Blind folio

A page number that is intentionally omitted from appearing on a printed page, even though the page is counted in the overall pagination sequence. This practice is often used for title pages, blank pages, or pages containing only illustrations, to maintain a clean aesthetic while preserving correct numbering. The page still contributes to the total page count of the publication.
