Coextrusion

A manufacturing process that simultaneously extrudes two or more different materials through a single die to form a multi-layered product. This technique allows for the combination of distinct material properties, such as strength, barrier protection, or aesthetic appeal, into a single composite structure. Coextrusion is frequently used in the production of plastic films, sheets, and pipes.
