Mineral wagon

A type of railway freight car, or goods wagon, designed specifically for carrying bulk minerals like coal, iron ore, or stone. These wagons feature a simple, open-topped steel or wooden body and a fixed wheelbase, built for durability and high capacity. Many designs included bottom doors, either along the centerline or on the sides, to permit rapid discharge of the contents into hoppers or storage bins at their destination.
