Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-007138
A system that uses a nitrogen-charged accumulator to support the weight of a combine header, allowing it to float over ground contours. The Nitrogen-charged Header Ride Control (NRC) maintains a consistent cutting height by automatically adjusting to changes in terrain. This system reduces operator fatigue and minimizes crop damage by preventing the header from digging into the soil.
