Burglary

The unlawful taking of property from within a premises that is closed for business, which involves forcible entry or exit. Evidence of force must be visible, such as broken locks, damaged doors, or smashed windows. A loss from a theft that does not show signs of forced entry, like an unlocked door being used, is not considered burglary under many standard policy definitions.
