The annual financial report that an insurance company is required to file with the insurance regulators in every state where it is licensed to do business. This detailed document, also known as the NAIC annual statement blank, provides a standardized view of the insurer's financial condition, including its assets, liabilities, income, and capital. The filing deadline for most insurers in the United States is March 1 for the preceding calendar year.
