Errors and omissions clause

A provision within an insurance contract that states the policy will not be invalidated by an unintentional error or omission on the part of the insured. This clause offers protection against minor administrative mistakes that might otherwise lead to a denial of coverage. It is distinct from errors and omissions insurance, which covers professional liability.
