Mercantile robbery

A commercial crime insurance coverage that protects businesses against the loss of money, securities, and other property due to robbery. Robbery is defined as the taking of property from a person by force or threat of force. This coverage applies whether the robbery occurs on or off the insured premises, as long as the property is in the care and custody of an employee.
