Resilient bond

A financial instrument designed to provide funding for recovery and reconstruction efforts after a catastrophic event, while also incorporating features that promote risk reduction and adaptation. These bonds link repayment terms or interest rates to the achievement of specific resilience targets or the occurrence of future events. They are a form of catastrophe bond, but with an explicit focus on pre-disaster preparedness and post-disaster rebuilding.
