Voluntary compensation endorsement

An addition to a workers' compensation policy that extends coverage to employees who are not legally subject to the state's workers' compensation laws. This endorsement provides benefits similar to those mandated by statute, even though the employer is not legally obligated to provide them. It typically applies to domestic workers, agricultural laborers, or employees in states where coverage is not compulsory.
