Subregional broadcast

The dissemination of meteorological information, such as forecasts or severe weather warnings, to a specific, limited geographical area within a larger forecast or administrative region. This targeted communication allows for more detailed and relevant information tailored to the local topography, microclimate, or population centers. For example, a national weather service might issue a subregional broadcast for a specific mountain pass or coastal community.
