Term · Oncology and biomedicine · MLC-T-ONC-009490

A drug used with chemotherapy containing fluoropyrimidine and platinum to treat adults with gastric (stomach) cancer or gastroesophageal junction cancer that has the CLDN18.2 protein, is HER2-negative, and has spread to other parts of the body or cannot be removed by surgery. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Zolbetuximab binds to CLDN18.2, which is found on the surface of some cancer cells.
