ADC
Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-000026
An electronic circuit that converts an analog signal, which is continuous in time and amplitude, into a digital signal, which is discrete. This process involves sampling the analog signal at regular intervals and then quantizing each sample to a finite set of values. The resolution of an ADC is typically measured in bits.
