Batch file

A script file in MS-DOS, OS/2, and Windows operating systems that contains a series of commands executed sequentially by the command-line interpreter. These files automate repetitive tasks or launch multiple programs with a single execution. Batch files commonly use the '.bat' or '.cmd' file extension.
