Touchscreen

A display screen that responds to direct physical touch, allowing users to interact with a device by touching icons, text, or images on the display. It combines input and output functions into a single interface, eliminating the need for a separate mouse or keyboard for many operations. Resistive touchscreens detect pressure, while capacitive touchscreens sense electrical changes from a finger.
