Fresh

1. For a newly generated key, the property of being unequal to any previously used key.
2. Newly established keying material is considered to be fresh if the probability of being equal to any previously established keying material is acceptably small. The “acceptably small probability” may be application specific.
3. Newly established secret keying material that is statistically independent of any previously established keying material.
4. Newly established keying material is considered to be fresh if the probability of being equal to any previously established keying material is acceptably small. The acceptably small probability may be application specific.
