Census Enterprise Data Collection and Processing (CEDCaP)
Term · Economic statistics · MLC-T-ECS-000257
Census Enterprise Data Collection and Processing (CEDCaP) refers to a Census Bureau program centralizing and integrating multiple data collection and processing systems for all our censuses and surveys. This program will lead to more efficient management of core IT functions and save taxpayer dollars.
With CEDCaP, the Census Bureau will manage and reduce cost for data collection and processing by integrating systems and projects within the program's scope, by retiring several data collection systems and halting the creation of program-specific systems.
