Term · Economic statistics · MLC-T-ECS-000310

A detailed table from the American Community Survey with a reduced amount of detail shown to comply with data release rules. Collapsed tables are found in the American FactFinder.

Specifically, it is a detailed table with a "C" prefix in the table identification for which two or more lines of data from the corresponding "B" prefix table have been collapsed into a single line in the "C" table. For example, in a table the lines "75 to 79 years," "80 to 84 years" and "85 years and over" from B01001A table may be collapsed into a single line of data "75 years and over" in the C01001A table. Not every B table has a collapsed version.
