Local Employment Dynamics

Refers to a partnership begun in 1999 between the Census Bureau and state governments to produce enhanced labor market statistics. Through the LED Partnership the Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics Program combines Census Bureau data with data from states to produce Quarterly Workforce Indicators, LEHD Origin-Destination Employment Statistics, and several data access and analysis tools, including OnTheMap.
