Merchant wholesalers

This term describes wholesalers which take title to the goods they sell. For example, all of these are merchant wholesalers: industrial distributors, voluntary group wholesalers, exporters, importers, cash-and-carry wholesalers, jobbers, drop shippers, retailer cooperative warehouses, and cooperative buying associations.
