Acid Rain Program

1. A national sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides air pollution control and emissions reduction program established in accordance with Title IV of the Clean Air Act.

2. A program run by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency with the goal of reducing emissions of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides. For more information see https://www.epa.gov/airmarkets/arp.
