Activity Pattern Data
Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-000409
1. Information on human activities used in exposure assessments. These may include a description of the activity, frequency of activity, duration spent performing the activity, and the microenvironment in which the activity occurs.
2. In an inhalation exposure assessment, activity-pattern data depict both the actual physical activity (including an associated inhalation exertion level); the physical location; and, the time of day the activity takes place (e.g., at midnight, while sleeping at home, jogging in the park at 8 a.m., or driving in a car at 6 p.m.). The Hazardous Air Pollution Model (HAPEM) uses activity-pattern data from EPA's Comprehensive Human Activity Database (CHAD).
3. Data that depict actual human physical activity, the location of the activity, and the time of day it takes place.
4. Information on human activities used in exposure assessments. These may include a description of the activity, frequency of activity, duration spent performing the activity, and the microenvironment in which the activity occurs. [IPCS 2004]
5. : Information on activities in which various individuals engage, length of time spent performing various activities, locations in which individuals spend time and length of time spent by individuals within those various environments.
