Analytical Batch

Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-001393

1. Environmental samples that are prepared and/or analyzed together with the same process and personnel and using the same lot(s) of reagents. {OW/EAD} {OPP}

2. A group of samples, including quality control samples, which are processed together using the same method, the same lots of reagents, and at the same time or in continuous, sequential time periods. Samples in each batch should be of similar composition and share common internal quality control standards. {ORD} {ORCR}

3. A set of field samples (not to exceed 20, excluding quality control samples) analyzed on the same instrument within a 24-hour period that begins and ends with the analysis of appropriate Continuing Calibration Check standards (CCCs). Additional CCCs may be required depending on the length of the analysis batch and/or the number of field samples. {OW/TSC}

4. A group of samples, including quality control samples, which are processed together using the same method, the same lots of reagents, and at the same time or in continuous, sequential time periods. Samples in each batch should be of similar composition and share common internal quality control standards. (ORD)

5. Environmental samples that are prepared and/or analyzed together with the same process and personnel and using the same lot(s) of reagents.

6. A set of field samples (not to exceed 20, excluding quality control samples) analyzed on the same instrument within a 24-hour period that begins and ends with the analysis of appropriate Continuing Calibration Check standards (CCCs). Additional CCCs may be required depending on the length of the analysis batch and/or the number of field samples.

7. Batch of samples analyzed over a 24-hour period beginning with the daily instrument tune performance check.
