The approval by the ANSI Executive Standards Council of the written procedures submitted by a standards developer relative to the development and documentation of evidence of consensus in connection with standards that are expected to be approved by the American National Standards Institute. Accreditation by ANSI signifies that the procedures submitted by the standards developer satisfy the essential requirements contained herein.
