Automobile exhaust

Products of the combustion in the automobile engine. Exhaust pollutants include hydrocarbon emissions, nitrogen oxides, collectively known as NOx, carbon monoxide (CO) a product of incomplete combustion and carbon dioxide which does not directly impair human health, but is a “greenhouse gas” that traps the earth’s heat and contributes to the potential for global warming.
