bladder pumps

Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-003403

Also known as squeeze pumps, bladder pumps operate by the compression of a flexible bladder housed inside the pump. Water enters the bladder through a check valve. Once the bladder is filled, it is squeezed by compressed air that has been injected into the housing surrounding the bladder. Water cycles through the bladder in evenly spaced pulses.
