CAIR nitrogen oxides ozone season trading program

1. Multi-state nitrogen oxides air pollution control and emission reduction program approved and administered by the Administrator in accordance with subparts AAAA through IIII of this part and §51.123(aa)(1) or (2) (and (bb)(1)), (bb)(2), or (dd) of this chapter or established by the Administrator in accordance with subparts AAAA through IIII of part 97 of this chapter and §§51.123(ee) and 52.35 of this chapter, as a means of mitigating interstate transport of ozone and nitrogen oxides.

2. Multi-state nitrogen oxides air pollution control and emission reduction program approved and administered by the Administrator in accordance with subparts AAAA through IIII of this part and §51.123(aa)(1) or (2) (and (bb)(1)), (bb)(2), or (dd) of this chapter or established by the Administrator in accordance with subparts AA through II of part 97 of this chapter and §§51.123(p) and 52.35 of this chapter, as a means of mitigating interstate transport of ozone and nitrogen oxides.
