Coagulation-Assisted Micro-Filtration

Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-005358

A treatment process by which the physical or chemical properties of dissolved colloidal or suspended matter are altered such that agglomeration is enhanced to an extent that the resulting particles will settle out of solution by ravity or will be removed by filtration. Microfiltration is used as a membrane separation process to remove particulates, turbidity, and microorganisms.
