Combined Cycle System

Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-005642

1. System in which a separate source, such as a gas turbine, internal combustion engine, kiln, etc., provides exhaust gas to a steam generating unit.

2. System in which a separate source (such as a stationary gas turbine, internal combustion engine, or kiln) provides exhaust gas to a steam generating unit.

3. System comprised of one or more combustion turbines, heat recovery steam generators, and steam turbines configured to improve overall efficiency of electricity generation or steam production.

4. Two or more generation processes in a series or in parallel, configured to optimize the energy output of the system.
