  "definition": "1. The act of meeting all state and federal drinking water regulations.\n\n2. An affirmative indication or judgment that the supplier of a product or service has met the requirements of the relevant specifications, contract, or regulation; also the state of meeting the requirements.\n\n3. The term \"compliance\" refers to conditions in which a regulated entity (usually an owner or operator of an injection well) has complied with the regulations governing underground injection (found in Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations), the Safe Drinking Water Act and all conditions of a permit (if one has been issued).\n\n4.
