Contact Adhesive

1. Any household adhesive that:(1) When applied to two substrates, forms an instantaneous, nonrepositionable bond;(2) When dried to touch, exhibits a minimum 30-minute bonding range; and(3) Bonds only to itself without the need for reactivation by solvents or heat.

2. Adhesive that is applied to two substrates, dried, and mated under only enough pressure to result in good contact. The bond is immediate and sufficiently strong to hold pieces together without further clamping, pressure, or airing.
