1. Ratio of the emissions collected or destroyed by an add-on air pollution control device to the total emissions that are introduced to the control device, expressed as a percentage.

2. Ratio of the pollutant released by a control device and the pollutant introduced to the control device.

3. Ratio of organic HAP emissions recovered or destroyed by a control device to the total organic HAP emissions that are introduced into the control device, expressed as a percentage. [40 CFR 63.822 (CFR 2013)]
