Corrosivity

1. Corrosive wastes include those that are acidic and capable of corroding metal such as tanks, containers, drums, and barrels.

2. An indication of the corrosiveness of a water. The corrosiveness of a water is described by the water's pH, alkalinity, hardness, temperature, total dissolved solids, dissolved oxygen concentration, and the Langelier Index.

3. Measure of the ability to cause destruction of living tissue or some solid materials surfaces by chemical action.

4. Characteristic of Corrosivity
