Data Uncertainty

1. Uncertainty (see definition) that is caused by measurement errors, analytical imprecision and limited sample sizes during the collection and treatment of data. Data uncertainty, in contrast to variability (see definition) is the component of total uncertainty that is "reducible" through further study.
