Decontamination of spore-forming microorganisms

1. A process that eliminates or inactivates viable bioburden and any associated toxic material via the use of chemical and/or physical means.
2. Removal of harmful bacteria or other organisms that can form spores allowing the organism to survive in hostile environmental conditions, from exposed individuals, rooms and furnishings in buildings, or the exterior environment.
