The conceptual framework for describing the interactions between society and the environment adopted by the European Environment Agency (EEA). An extension of the Pressure-State-Response (PSR) model developed by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the DPSIR framework considers driving forces, pressures, states, impacts and responses, and their linkages.
