  "definition": "1. Any operation, other than a nursery or forest, engaged in the outdoor production of agricultural plants.\n\n2. A facility on a tract of land devoted to the production of crops or raising of animals, including fish, which produced and sold, or normally would have produced and sold, $1,000 or more of agricultural products during a year. [40 CFR 302.3 (CFR 2013)][40 CFR 112.2 (CFR 2013)]\n\n3. Site or area (including associated structures) that - (1) Is used for - (i) The production of a crop; or (ii) The raising or selling of animals (including any form of livestock, poultry, or fish); and (2) Under normal conditions, produces during a farm year any agricultural products with a total value equal to not less than $1,000.",
