Farmland of Statewide Importance

Contains soils designated by each state’s Natural Resources Conservation Service as “farmland of statewide importance.” Farmland of statewide importance is farmland that does not meet all of the prime farmland criteria, but is still able to economically produce high yields of crops when treated and managed according to acceptable farming methods..
