Federal facility

1. Any building, installation, structure, land, public work, equipment, aircraft, vessel, or other vehicle and property, owned by, or constructed or manufactured for the purpose of leasing to, the federal government.
2. Federal facilities are defined as the “buildings, installations, structures, land, public works, equipment, aircraft, vessels, and other vehicles and property, owned by, or constructed or manufactured for the purpose of leasing to, the Federal government.”
3. Any facility owned or operated by any department, commission, agency, office, bureau or other unit of the government of the United States of America except for facilities owned or operated by the Department of Energy.
4. Any building, installation, structure, land, or public work owned by or leased to the Federal Government. Ships at sea, aircraft in the air, land forces on maneuvers, and other mobile facilities are not considered “Federal facilities” for the purpose of these guidelines. United States Government installations located on foreign soil or on land outside the jurisdiction of the United States Government are not considered “Federal facilities” for the purpose of these guidelines.
5. Facility that is owned or operated by a department, agency, or instrumentality of the United States.
Facilities owned by the federal agencies or facilities subject to routine federal actions such as airports and seaports.
