1. Immiscible liquid phase hydrocarbon existing in the subsurface with a positive pressure such that it can flow into a well.
2. A petroleum hydrocarbon in the liquid free or non aqueous phase.
3. A petroleum hydrocarbon in the liquid ("free" or non-aqueous) phase. (see also non-aqueous phase liquid, NAPL).
4. Regulated substance that is present as a nonaqueous phase liquid (e.g., liquid not dissolved in water).
