Heterodimerization

Heterodimerization involves a biophysical interaction between two dissimilar biological molecules or subunits, such as between two proteins. The interaction is often mediated by a biophysical interaction between one or more specific domains within each subunit and, typically, significantly influences the function of each subunit.
